Indian food nutrition database

Search calories and macros for the foods you actually eat — from dal-chawal to dosa.

The NutriDesi Indian food database covers more than 500 everyday dishes eaten across North India, South India, the East and the West — from Punjabi dal makhani and Hyderabadi biryani to Tamil idli, Bengali macher jhol, Gujarati dhokla and Maharashtrian poha. For every food we list calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber for a realistic Indian serving size, like one katori of dal, one medium roti, one masala dosa or a 100g portion of paneer. We tag each item as vegetarian, vegan, high-protein, low-carb or diabetic-friendly so you can filter the database for your goal — weight loss, muscle gain, PCOD management or blood sugar control. All values are based on standard Indian food composition tables and verified home-cooked recipes, so the numbers reflect the food on your plate, not a lab.
